Wow I missed that one. Can’t say I’m sorry though.Yup, the article is here. The author, Brett Berk, later removed the offending word (there’s an apology from him and from the Vanity Fair editors near the bottom), but he kind of missed the point that not all of the Warblers are gay, and that a gay man doesn’t have to necessarily “play straight” to appeal to women. Berk is gay himself, so personally it was the appeal to stereotypes that bothered me more than the use of the slur.
Oh yeah, I vaguely remember this now. Man, those were the good days though. Which is kind of sad to say, but I still actively liked Glee back then.
So true. Season 2 was so quality.
